Personality: A cheerful, bright woman normally, Zahra is an entertainer with a myriad of skills (singing, dancing, composing, acting, etc). She prefers to live in the moment and dislikes anything that she feels holds her back from moving forward. Sharp, observant, but prefers to keep a positive if not blunt demeanor about her. As the heiress to the Kouris family, she takes her duties seriously while still trying to maintain her connections to what she loves - performing.She is prone to sass and heavy sarcasm depending on the situation - this shines the more stressed she is. Zahra has a giving personality and rarely, if ever, holds grudges. Her motto is 'Keep moving forward'.Zahra has shown to have business sense along with skills in event running. She used to host the annual Rookie Rhapsody and has helped run Holi among other events. She currently sponsors New Era Wrestling in the background.

Brother: Cahil Kouris - Zahra's younger brother and budding arcanist/alchemist.
Cousin: (Adopted) Endo Kouris - A skilled scholar and wrestler.Mariyaam Balrahn al-Hakimi - Guardian and longtime companion to her and her brother. Zahra cares deeply for Mari and sees her as an older sister figure.

Troupe Lasyah (Disbanded)

Due to circumstances that Zahra will not speak of save to those who already know of it, her troupe no longer exists.

Other Relationships

Devah - A young and rising performer who Zahra discovered after doing some digging into her background, Devah is now under the Kouris family's protection and tutelage. Like Zahra, Devah has been tasked to pilgrimage outside of Thavnair to learn more styles and understand different cultures.

Style---

A mix of pop, dance, and R&B, Zahra's style could be considered eclectic. She enjoys playing around and experimenting with different things when it comes to performances, and is never afraid to try something new. What she decides to perform is usually dependent on mood, this also includes whether or not she decides to go with a theme. Lately, she's been leaning more into her roots, performing more Hannish songs.Zahra is a singer and a dancer, although she is proficient with string instruments, specifically the violin and sitar. She also once owned and operated Ameya Dance Hall & Entertainment, a Hannish entertainment hall that resides in Eorzea.

House Kouris

Originally a miqo'te clan from Corvos that came to Thavnair over two centuries ago, the small group arrived bearing deep riches and a profound skill for business and trade. It did not take long for them to adapt and claim land and title for themselves. Seventy-five cycles later, they fell into obscurity and there are few records of what occurred.The Kouris house rose back into prominence a few decades ago and now sits shrouded in rumors and whispers regarding how it regained its power.Founded by Cetin Kouris, the house is known primarily as a mining house, owning several mines throughout Thavnair. Owner of the Kouris Mining Company, they commit to local and international trade of ores, precious gems, and minerals to interested parties. Within Thavnair, they own several jewelry stores.Being a relatively young house that has but recently rose back into high society, they do not have an exhaustive history. However, what they do not have in raw power and sheer influence they are making up for by slowly establishing networks with the locals and trading partners.The Kouris house invests in smaller businesses, charities, and providing assistance in revitalizing the economies of the mining villages they've expanded into.It is rumored Cetin is once again looking towards the Steppes and the New World to expand his business.

Rumors - These are things locals and/or the nobility of Thavnair/Radz-at-Han would commonly have heard.

- Cetin married Theria (who comes from a powerful noble family) to gain his noble status.
- There is a dark rumor that Cetin killed a merchant family and made false lineage claims to be able to claim his right to nobility. No one has been able to find proof of this.
- There's a rumor that Cetin does come from a fallen noble house and he only reclaimed his family's birthright by digging up his lineage. The nobility tend to believe he's the one behind that rumor - which he is(he didn't do much to hide he was behind it).
- There are rumors regarding Theria's fidelity to Cetin regarding Zahra, although this is more of a malicious rumor, as most nobility who know of the Kouris house are aware Zahra was adopted. This would likely be spoken if one was a direct antagonist toward the Kouris house. Or if you wanted to be an ass.
